Has anybody painted there front chrome bumper?
yeah know i was thinking about doing it too but first dupli color makes a non-permanent paint im going to see what it looks like first and than take it to a body shop and paint it

If you are planning on painting chrome, have it done right, by a body shop with expertise in that area. I had my chrome bumpers painted but it took about 10 times more prep than painting steel, because paint doesnt stick well to chrome.

My F250s underbody has been painted black, and the custom 4" chrome exhaust tips on it were painted too, & i am seeing the origional chrome more & more each wash. I'll eventually have them washed good enough to decide if I want to leave them chrome or painted, but the bodyshop will do it the right way.
