very nice. So just making sure....the F-150 is painted blue, the XLT is still black and 5.4 Triton is red.

I bought all the supplies and started to do mine about 2 weeks ago, then it got hella cold and snowy. So that is where mine stands. What paint code is your blue? Mine is DX. How did you do the paint. I started my taping the whole badge then used a pen knife to cut out the black area for painting.

I am a perfectionist haha so i kept putting it on...cutting it out...ripping it off and starting again. In the end all i got done was the hyhen haha. I like the red though. I am now considering it for myself as well.

yeah, I went with the red cause I thought it would really set off the badge, and to pay a little tribute to the '97-'03 F-150's badge.

should have used spray paint so you cant see the brush strokes, and the paint would be smooth and even, other than that it looks good

I'm probly going to sand it with 1000 grit and spray like you said, then clear coat it.
