Hey guys, maybe someone can help. I'm looking to get some step bars for my truck. I don't want normal style step bars, I was thinking something more like these. http://www.n-fab.com/products.nerfsteps.asp . If you look through the ford gallery you can even see some people powder coated them to match the truck, which I really like and would want to do to mine. My buddy has a '04 GMC with 10 inches of lift and he has Predator step bars, which I like and are very similar to the n-fab step bars. He said the predator bars are supposed to be better, but I searched and searched and can't find a website or anything. Anybody heard of the predator, any info or input on either the predator or n-fab would be great and a website for the predators if anybody knows it.
Sorry for the long post.
The only problem I have with the n-fab is they advertise wheel to wheel and I have side exhaust on my truck like the lightenings. I'm not sure if they have shorter ones for front of cab to back. My buddies predator bars only go cab to cab and not wheel to wheel. Any info would be great and if there are any other companies out there with similar styles, that would be great too.

Well, I found out the smittybilt makes the predator. Daystar is also another company that makes similar style side bars to the n-fab. Smittybilt's website wont come up and daystar doesn't seem to have one, or maybe I'm not searching it right. But n-fab seems to be the only one to color match them to your truck. Well at least from what I've found so far. Maybe this info will help some of you guys and if anybody else has info for me that would be great. Thanks.

 

They look pretty good, I personally like chromed ones alot.

 

I'm with WS......they look good but, I prefer chrome ones too.
IMO, I think chrome would look good on your rig.
