hey was just wondering if any of you out there have painted the honeycomb grills to match body color, was thinking about doing so. would like a billet grill of some sort but figured if its not too hard to remove, a few hours of sanding and painting might catch my eye and save me a lot of money instead of going with billet, just wanting to see some pics of grills if any of you have painted them

*****, that is what I did with my 04' Lariat Scab. Since it had the nice chrome trim around the grille already, a buddy of mine who had access to a sprayer color matched my honeycomb grille Toreador red. Wasn't tough to do, looks good and I like it because it seems like every f150 on the street now has the billet grille or the stock honeycomb. I will try and post a photo soon.

 

Alot of peoplke have painted the honeycomb grills on their trucks. Patrick started a thread on his grill i'm sure he will post it later.
