Since I've joined a few days ago, and with expert advice from members such as Wandell, I am hooked to this site! I have a 01 supercrew 4 x 4 and have already installed westin steps, and 265/70/16 tires ( I could have gotten bigger ones, but I was afraid of the inaccuracies of the speedometer).

Basically, I am looking forward to more cosmetic modifications instead of performance at this point. Not to mention I'm mechanically challenged.

I started browsing ebay for options and I am leaning towards more of a OEM look. Hence, I may purchase headlights similar to the Ford lightning ( not OEM-so it's within budget).

Do you plan on mounting any extra lights (driving lights, etc.) on the front of your truck?
IMO, I'm not thrilled with the look of the Lightning headlights. I have two pics in my gallery of the headlights I purchased from EBay.
Also, I have a grille guard (chrome) mounted on my truck which I purchased from www.aztrucks.com. It doesn't come with the bars that extend around the headlights. I don't like the look of that style.

What color is your truck? That will make a big difference in how these parts will look on your truck. FWIW, I like the 1st lights the orange provides some contrast, the clears are way to RICEY. I also like the 1st brush guard, I don't like the Safari bars (or whatever #2 is called), I don't know what the hell #3 is supposed to be, some sort of light bar?

Ian: The color of my truck is that of the truck i posted with different head lights.

 

once i get a camera i'll show you a pic, but i have a light bar with 4 150w lights on top, and a custom black steel bumper, with diamond plate bed rails and a stainless steel tool chest with cb whips. if you wanted any ideas for upgrades. i have enjoyed mine, and loved putting them on, in the case of the bumper building it.

 

Sorry, didn't pay attetion to well I rekon. I like the chrome better than the black with your color. The chrome goes with the bumper, the black goes with nothing, just another color on the front to confuse the eye.
