I have ordered some bed rails from JCW. These are the kind with the drilless locking plates. The picture at JCW shows them fitting over the bed caps no problem. My issue is with the locking plates. Do they go under the lip of the bed cap, or under the lip of the pocket itself?

I put on side on and it looked okay, until I saw I huge bulge underneath the bed cap. The instructions they sent are useless. I did a search and can't really find any good info.
