I have a 05 stx with the honeycomb grill . I've seen some nice billet 6pc and 7pc grill inserts , but they say there not for the honeycomb grill just the two bar style grill. I dont want the one piece grill. Im really looking for a 6 or 7 pc insert, anyone have one or seen one for sale? Thanks

As far as I know you can't have both, I think you want the 7-piece grille insert, right? Then you need the bar style grille. You can find them all over ebay from guys who took theirs off to do the opposite of what you are wanting to do.

 

Sometimes when I work a few 12 hr days in a row, my mind turns to mush and I do stupid things. Which always ends up me apologizing for being stupid. I actually have a bar grill not a honeycomb grill. I emailed a guy on ebay about his 7pc billet grill, he asked if mine was honeycomb I said yes because the insert of my BAR GRILL is honeycomb, he said it wont work, I got confused put a thread up. caught myself, and now Im posting this thread to let everyone know Im really not stupid . I apologize. Like I said after some very long hrs I should go to bed a really not speak to anyone until I get a good 8 hrs sleep. Thanks

 

Hey,I had the bar style grille and ordered the inserts for it from stillen.I changed my mind an ordered the open grille and went with the top and bottom inserts for that.I am trying to sell them.If you would like to see a picture of them,let me know.
