Grill Replacement help

I've just started looking for new grill replacements recently and have searched this forum as well as search engines with no luck.

I want a grill that has a classy look, chrome, and is not a grill insert.

Something likes this but a replacement https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=253757

It's for a 2006 F150, same as in the picture.

Stylin' Concepts has a lot of choices, both replacement grilles and bolt overs.

Is this for your 01 or do you have a newer truck. http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=714 It's the grill that Ford puts on the Chrome Edition Package. It has a bracket so you can install you emblem on it. You do however have to use your grill surround. It is a direct replacement with your surround and emblem. I had the HD grill on mine but just change it to this grill.

This may be what I'm looking for! So you take the old honeycomb (Can't remember what design is on the truck) grill off, and replace it with this?

I am the owner of the 2001 but my father just bought a 2006 and wants the grill. Since he doesn't know where to look, I though I would help him.

Yes just pop out the insert and pop in this and your done. There are about 6 nuts and 4 bolts to take it off the truck. Unclipping the insert may require you to brake a few of the clip supports on the old insert, not the surround that you need for the new insert. That really doesn't matter much. Your taking it off anyways and if you ever decided to reuse the old insert again double sided tape works great for that. You can avoid this mostly if not totally by using a hairdrier and heating the tab and tab supports.
