Help with...Everything!

Hey everybody, so I haven't been the owner of a truck for very long and I need some suggestions on how I can improve it's overall appearance. It is an 03 F150 that is white. I have already bought a roll up tonneau cover for it. I want to customize it, mainly with chrome, but I don't want to make it look overcustomized or cheesy at all. I want to get a stainless steel grill (replacement not overlay), Halo headlights, handle replacements, bed rails, Altezza tail lights possibly, mirror covers, wheel trim, and an exhaust eventually. I'm still not sure about the exhaust, I don't really want a loud truck but I have heard some that I like.
So seriously, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'll most likely buy the majority of it on ebay so if any of you have good or bad experience with vendors let me know. I appreciate any responses and I'll post some pics of my truck the way it looks now and update as I start getting new parts as soon as I figure out how!

1. You NEED bigger tires. You can fit a 265/75/16 tire in there with the rims you have now.
2. Billet Grilles upper and lower. I got both of mine off eBay from Carpartsdiscount. They are Stull BEEFY Billet Grilles. The "beefy" grilles have 1/4" thick bars instead of the standard 1/8".
3. Handle replacements look cheesy IMO.
4. You've already got bedrails, and those in chrome would be too much IMO.
5. Chrome Mirror covers are good, luckily mine came stock.
6. Wheel trim is cheesy again IMO
7. Altezza lights should look good on a white truck
8. Flowmaster 40 Series will be loud but not too loud.

I like the stull beefy grill a lot, is it possible to install the lower grill though, I was looking at doing it but couldn't figure out how it would install, unless it just clips on. Appreciate any info, and yes I definitely need bigger tires! As for the bed rails, I have plastic bed caps, I mean the actual stainless steel 2" tubular rails.

Looks like you've got a blank canvas to work with, that's good. It sounds like you're on the right track with the mods you've listed. I'm not sure about the chrome handles or wheel trim. I prefer the stock handles myself. You definately need new wheels, nothing smaller than 20" chrome with 285/50/R20 tires. Since your truck is a 2 wd, drop it 3-4". IMO, you can't give a truck a cool look without giving it a cool sound. If you don't want loud, then get the Magnaflow exhaust SISO, you'll be glad you did. You may want to acetone the badges to go with all that chrome. And remember, moding your truck is addictive, don't resist the urges.

Thanks everybody, glad to be here! 37on97 those are the exact lights that I'm looking at getting off Ebay, how do you like them, ease of install? I'm still deciding with the billet grill. I'm not sure whether I want one with or without the logo. Also I haven't been able to find one that is not an overlay with the logo, so the decision might be pretty easy.
ADT even though I have two wheel drive, I live in Alabama, and you just don't drop trucks no matter what size of truck haha. And the wheels are a definite, way too small, they are just about worn out though.
MG I really like your brush guard but I think I'm gonna hold off on getting mine for a little bit, and your nerf bars are awesome, where did you get them?
I appreciate all the info!

I would have to agree with Zaair.....wheel trim would look cheezy. New wheels would make a bigger difference, IMO.
Here is where I purchased my items:

www.truckaccessoriesworld.com (GoIndustries Nerf Bars)
www.aztrucks.com (GoIndustries Knockdown Grille Guard)

Also, IMO, I think pinstripes would look nice on your rig. (I put black pinstripes on mine).

Well here are my opinions on what to do to your truck

1. Shave the chrome grill surround and get it painted white

2. Billet grill without logo

3. Chrome nerf bars

4. Lightning F150 headlights

5. 20% tint

6. 18"s - 22"s 5 spoke designed rims

I think your truck would loo sweet with those mods

Heres what I think

1. Shave the chrome grill surround and get it painted white

2. Billet grill without logo

3. Clear tail lights

4. Lightning F150 headlights

5. 20% tint

6. 20" - 22"s rims

7. Lower 2" front and 4" back

Be different from everyone else in Alabama and lower that sucker. Chrome door handles and fender trim is a NO. The chrome mirror covers would be ok.
DO NOT put nerf bars on a 2wd drive truck or a grill guard for that matter.

Definitely go with larger wheels and tires, grilles, and tint. Also, you will need to remove the liscence plate mount on your front bumper. Like Zaairman said, some of those chome mods look cheesy. I would go with magnaflow exhaust, because it is deep but not too loud.

The emblem on the billet grille is the emblem from your original Ford grille. If you want to keep it, then you just bolt it onto the new one. As for the lower grille, all you have to do is drill a few holes, and you're done. You at least need bigger tires, 265/75/16 will fit on the stock rims and stock height. I've got Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revo's, and LOVE them. And again, if you see anything you like on my truck, let me know and I'll tell you where to get the best price...I'm Mr. Bargain Shopper :o
