First off....nice rig! Personally, I like the chrome look. Mine are "GoIndustries"
from www.truckaccessoriesworld.com. IMO, I think chrome would look nice
on your truck.

These steps below are brand new to the market. I just received my dealer samples. The nerfs take interchangable color stripes. They sent me polished aluminum with a red stripe and a powdercoated black with a chrome stripe. I gotta tell ya, the black one is STUNNING in person. It's the sharpest looking nerf I've ever seen. Again, these are aluminum, so no rust.

I have westin platinum nerf bars and they look good but they are designed for a truck with out a 6" lift so they dont hang down enough to be much help.
I wonder if the westin nerf bars for an F250 would fit on a F150 they drop down more.

Check these out....

http://www.truckparts411.com/default.aspx

I came across this a few months ago from someone's post here and saved the link for future reference. The prices seem real good, and the poster stated that they are good quality. Might be worth a try

I went with a set from ebay which I have to say are very well built. There holding up great, and were very easy to install. Took about 45 minutes to put on.

Those are substantially cheaper than the Westin nerf bars I was looking at. These are more within my price range. Is there any noticable difference between these and say Westin bars? Also who makes them? The website said it couldn't give out the manufacturer name. How hard were they to install? Thank you in advance for your help.

i contacted TruckGasm via email and this is what he said.....

Mike, the website is here: http://www.stylestep.com/

Tha same company that makes FoldACover makes the Style Steps. You
better sit down, the price is really high. The Syle Steps retail for
about $1,000. They make them for trucks and Hummers. They must be
after the high-end hummer market! Let me know if you have any
questions.

They are very good looking, but I agree, $1K is really out of the market.
