Has anyone done a stock turn signal mirror conversion. I have a 2004 FX4 new body style and want to replace my side view mirrors with the optional turn signal mirrors that are stock on the Lariat. I called the dealer and they said it can't be done, but I don't believe them. Its the same mirror mounts and wiring, correct? Just an additional wire for the turn signal? Also, can anyone direct me to where I can order these, or is ANOTHER dealership the best option?

I dont think it would be a problem. Like you said just running a new wire for turn signals. Try contacting ken at fordparts.
