Hate to start this thread again. I can't find anyone that sells the paintable buckets for a supercab w/o keypad. It doesn't matter to me if I lose the keyholes on either side since I have keyless entry/alarm. I just need to know where you guys bought them from & if they come painted in true red like my truck. Once again sorry but help me out. I'm going crazy trying to find this mod for my truck. I plan on adding the flame handles or lt handles.

dont know about the LT handles, but on mine i bought a spare set from a guy on here, then sanded them and smoothed them and had them painted at my local body shop.

I have a full set of supercrew handles if your interested. Also if you have keyless entry but no keypad i think you can add the keypad by simply pluging it in. Mine has the factory keypad still on it since the spares i got came with the keypad too.

I got my LT handles from Fordparts.com. You can email Ken at sales@fordparts.com. He was really helpful in ordering the correct parts.

You can browse to www.fordparts.com, click on OEM Parts Catalog, then locate the correct Mark LT in the Body Parts section. Then click on "Front door > Lock and hardware > Handle outside" in the parts tree. There are only a few colors. I have white, so they had my color. The parts were great and easy to install. I also got the tail gate handle.

 

Oh, also if you want to get a keyless one, just order the drivers side back door for the supercrew, they come with no keyhole. I would have done that for mine, but I have a keypad on the front door.

 

I'm not that lucky. My truck is True Red so going to fastparts won't be a option. Maybe I can buy some from someone on here & fixed theirs up to match my paint. Then I can buy some lookalike handles from autoanything.com. They sell AMI brand which is similar to the LT handles. If someone has some just let me know. I will need the tailgate also to complete the look.

 

Do these handles come painted with chrome?

How difficult are they to install?
