I hope this hasn't been answered before, I tried searching the forum and I couldn't see that it had. Does anyone know if a guard for a 97-98 2WD F-150 will fit on a 4WD F-150? I came across a deal on a Mr. Pickup FG400w2-97 off of a 97 2wd and I want to make sure it will fit my 98 4WD before I throw away cash.

Not sure it will, but you might try different companies on the web to see if they list different models for the 4x2 and 4x4 or if instructions show to use different parts.

 

I wasn't sure either. That's why I came here. I know that Mr. pickup has 2 models listed for 2wd and 4wd.
My real question is, is there anything structurally different (2wd vs. 4wd) with the front end of the truck where the guard would mount?

 

it depends on how it mounts, i think that the 4x4 ans 4x2 bumper are alittle different in design
