Quick question...is it possible to remove just the blue "FORD" part of the emblem. I ordered some TONKA decals and because of the curvature of the emblem..the decal did not go on so well. So I was thinking if I could just remove the "FORD" part of the emblem and keep the chrome back, then it would have a flat surface to place the decal.

Do you have a 2006? They changed the emblems in 2006 so that the "Ford" lettering is raised so the overlays no longer fit. There is no way around this unless you replace the emblems with the 04-05 style.
