new mods for my bed !!

got a smoking deal on a bed rug and had it installed along with my custom wood bed that i built . the wood bed is not finished needs side rails on the end boards and my custom spare tire mount that bolts on all the open ends behind and in front of the wheel tubs has to be finished to mount . the spare tire mount is gonna float over the rear of the wood bed and hold another rim like i have (intro vista 20") what you guys think .

BedRugs are nice, I put one in my truck along with a soft tonneau cover.

Looks like you did good work on the wood. Are you going to be hauling anything with it? I'd be concerned about the wood getting scratched up.

not gonna be hauling anything in this bed at all . just something more to add for shows i go to . the wood is poplar hard wood i bought the boards off ebay for like 156.00 shipped and the rails from bob drakes reproduction parts for about 100.00 shipped the actual bed wood floor is for a 1953-54 stepside
f100 bed . i kinda build my frame to sit the boards on top of and srewed them in from underneath the frame .. and screwed the whole floor to the bed from under the truck . the rails are stailess and the side strips are polished aluminum
