painted door handle pics....

If any of you have painted door handles on your '04-'06 F150...I'd like to see your pics....I am thinking of getting some for my '06 and would like to see, in advance, what I'd be buying...I'd appreciate if you'd tell me what brand of paint you used and where you purchased it. I've looked at www.paintscratch.com , but was wondering if anyone has used Duplicolor or one of the brands at local parts stores....thanks...

Welcome, you're most likely going to want to go with the MARK LT handles that come off of our Lincoln counterpart. The bucket is painted, and the handle/pull part itself is chrome.

Several members (myself included) went this way since it is pre-done and very clean.

check out my gallery for more pics.

Sorry no pics yet, just put them on 2 days ago.
I purchased a set of 4 door handle covers from the www.F150store.com for $38. I removed my mirrors and rear latch and had my dealer sand, prime and color match them for $300. I did the install to save some $. I'm very pleased with the color matched mirrors and handles for sure. BTW the handle covers did not have a key pad cutout so I measured and did it myself ...no problem. I could have removed the factory handles but the extra cost of priming and sanding them plus the 3-4 day downtime(no door locks) was prohibitive. 100% happy with the door handle covers.
