I have always liked the look of a black interior, and i really wished ford offered this option on the stx, but i eventually hope to recover my seats in black or red and black, but figured the grey console would be a prob. What can i do to turn it black, can i just buy a black one. Oh, and also, is there a way to make your dash all black without a dashcover(dont like the carpet look) Thanks!

 

If you can remove your dash, you can mask it off, and use Krylon "Fusion". It's specifically made for plastics like that. I would go with a Semi-gloss for the dash. The main thing is, though, it's a bitch to take your dash out. You can mask off the rest of the cab, but be very careful, overspray can find it's way into unfortunate spots.
