I am just curious to what everyone is running tint wise. Im going to have my truck re-done this weekend with 5% over the back 3 and probably a 20% on my fronts. What do you guys have?...

 

I started light and went thru several tint jobs cause i just wasn't happy i wanted darker, but now i am pretty much at a MAX. 5% Back 5% sides 5% sunstripe and the whole front windshield is tinted 32%. I dont have a prob seeing out but i betcha cant see me.

 

20% all around... but i would like to go darker. the new 1-fiddy's have a huge windshield that makes the fronts look a bit lighter... id like to get either 10 or another layer over what i have to darken em up a bit

 

I have matched the side windows with the stock tint on the rear doors and window (I think 15% or 20%) and have 35% on the front windshield. When you tint the front, it makes everything look darker.

 

5% in the back over stock tint. Makes for pretty dark windows. can't see jack out of them at night.

IN the front i have 20%.

This is a good combo imo however a little dark for most. Especially if you do alot of backing up, the 5% rear tint is a pain in the ***.

Stock! lol I want tint so bad! I was thinking about darkening the back windows a little more but not to the point of not being able to see out them at night (point being to conceal my subs a little better from thieves). I will probably put 5% on the front side windows ignoring Michigan's 35% tint law. lol

 

My tint is set to "Pimptastic" level

I think it's 5% all round and 20% on the front screen.
Nice during the day but a bit scary at night

When I imported it to England, I told the testing station that the tint was standard fitment to the HD and they didn't know any different.
There's an advantage to having the only one in town

 

I have had 35% on every vehicle that I have owned (50% is legal in Ohio) but when I bought my truck it already had 50% on it. So far I have just left it the way it is but may change it to 35%.

I woudl love to go darker but it is no worth the hassle as I have been stopped twice for 35% tint and cited once.

 

my truck has the factory 20% in back, if i wanted to go darker, is it better to get it layered, or have them strip it and re-tint it?

Mines stock in the back and 20% up front.
