High beems or HIGH BEEMS

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed or has the same light set up as i do. When you through the high beems on, Pushing the blinker handle forward, only the one philiment goes on. But when you flash your high beems on, Pulling the blinker handle towards you, both philiments go on. Thus producing more and brighter headlights. I was alo wondering if there is some way to make it so both ways work with both philiments. Thanks for any remarks or solutions.

Yes I have the kit on my truck... I dont know if they make it for the newer trucks though. It also changes the wattage to 90/100. I just installed it yesterday.

It's not a good idea for extended periods of time. Running both filaments simultaneously puts a lot of heat into the housing and there's a good chance you can begin melting the plastic. In addition, it puts more than twice the normal amount of current through the ground wire, which again, generates a lot of heat.

Can it be done? Yes. Is it a good idea? In my opinion, not really.
