does anyone know if you can instal a "01-03" "lightning headlight in a 98 f-150?

Do the years matter?
i thought 97-03 were the same fit!
but a headlight on ebay said that it only fit 01-03....

The headlights from 97-03 are identical. The 97-98 had different bumpers and grilles, but the headlights are the same. You should be fine.
