Yeah yeah, the dude wants neon don't bust his chops.

I had blue neon under a honda I had once (don't bust my ***** either, we all do stupid crap once in a while) I bought the kit from autozone, about $180 and I thought it was a piece of shiat. They didn't fit worth a crap, they broke easily (broke two of the long ones, 72" i think) and I didn't feel like I got my monies worth. Look to ebay for these, and make sure you buy from a reputable seller who has been selling them for a while. The neon glows more than the led to me. And it attracts cops quite well! My wife wouldn't let me put red neon under my nav, and I am kinda glad she didnt'

No, I didn't have the LED. I had seen them and they didn't seem as bright to me as the real neon tubes did. The real ones seemed to "glow" more visible light.

no. some states have restrictions about what color you are able to run. i.e. some states do not allow like red or blue while moving.. and keep the bulbs hidden popo's don't like them

Just don't drive through Arkansas with the blue neon lights. I've had police buddies pull people over with blue neon lights and impound their vehicles. But we also at one point had an idiot with a blue flashing light on his dashboard pull over women and rape them. So there is absolutly no exceptions here in Little Rock.

Best bet would be to call your local police office and ask them.
