Billet Grill
Billet Grill
I just bought a grill from grill4you eBay store, and I must say the quality is great, so if any one is looking for a replacment billet grill check them out, I saw a post somewhere and someone was asking about them. I will try and get some pics up of the instal.
Have to agree with Biglaw22, I bought my billet grille from grille4you off of eBay as well, and it was a great investment. Get the full replacement grille, where you have to saw out the factory one, leaving about 1/2 " of the black plastic edge all the way around. It bolts right in to the factory holes, and you have to drill 2 more holes in the corners. I would also recommend the bumper piece to match, as well. If I could figure out how to post pictures in here, I'd do it and show you the difference.
My grill is a full replacement. I took off the front fascia and then took out the honey comb grill by drilling out the melted tabs, then mounted the billet grill to the chassis with the supplied tabs. Then I put the front fascia back on and aligned the two.

If you know what you are doing and have a few basic tools it takes less than a hour.
1. Remove the radiator cowling. This is done by unscrewing the 8 plastic fasteners and then popping out the compression fittings the screws were in.
2. Remove the corner lights. This is done by unscrewing the torques bit screw; it is located on the corner light housing beside the main headlamp. Once the screw is removed, pull the light straight out and unhook it.
3. Remove the screws holding the front fascia on. There are 2 located on each side behind the corner lights. And 6 on the top that are now uncovered after removing the radiator cowling.
4. To remove the front fascia you have to remove 6 pressure clips from the bottom of the fascia, these clips are holding the fascia to the air dam that is between it and the bumper. Lastly to remove the two metal clips holding the fascia to the chassis, these clips are located under the truck, you’ll see them once you’re under the truck.
5. To remove the grill pull the front fascia off the truck, now that you have the front fascia off the truck, grind/drill/cut the area where the grill is mounted to the front fascia via melted tabs.
6. Once the old grill is removed, file and sand the lip on the fascia smooth so the new grill will have a clean and flush fit.
7. Mount your new grill to the according instructions.

I have the grill and bumber insert from them also. It is a great product and very reasonably priced! Easy to install.

I do like the clear corners that I have, but as you can see, they do not exactly match the headlights. They only way to match them is to buy a whole set or get the one piece lights. I didnt want to spend a lot on my lights, so I opted for the clear corners only. They cost around $20-30 on ebay. It is a minor cost and looks a lot better than the stock corner lights.
I've been down this road at least 4 times. I also own a full replacement grille. I can give you the BEST recomendations, I do the installations myslef, and I can guide you just about every step of the way. P.S. That picture of the white truck...those lights and grille are UGLY AS HELL! Drop me a line.
.Lets see your truck, so we can all do an off the cuff judgement on you as well?,,,,98
