Read This... Then tell me where you got your gas door and how did you mount it.

 

Mine is a Bully from Pep Boys. It was listed as fitting 97-03 F-150's and bolted right up without any problems.

 

I bought a bully one from autozone and it said 97-03 f150 and it didnt fit at all, when i slid the cap bolts into the factory bolt holes the cap was postioned way off to the left it wouldnt fit into the gas door recess at all the left side of the cap assembly was hitting the body outside of the recess.
