500+ for a bull bar?

wtf!? i went into a local ziebart and was lookin around, had him price a stainless westin or rhino bull bar.. 515.00 575.00 installed... are you kidding me? that sounds wayyyyy over priced.

Local shops are way too expensive for those. Ebay my friend. Or check the current Moss Motors catalog. Should be about $300, you can install that yourself.

yeah, i had saw them on ebay for 305.. couldnt believe a 200+ markup. and they made it sound like i was getting a deal..

Thanks. It's really strong. I've run up on a few things with no damage to my bumper, very little damage to the stuff I ran up on. They're powder coated top to bottom for wear resistance.

With a ~50 lb winch, ~50 lb bellypan (wasn't made yet when this was taken), and lights + the 200 lb bumper, I picked up about 275 lbs up front. Cranked and keyed torsion bars and played some other tricks to get'er to clear the 37" tires.

The deer are afraid to run out in front of my truck anymore, so it's doing its job one way or another

Nice bumper!! That is almost exactly what I am planning to build for my Ranger. I need to get going on my hand built log skidder first. My Ranger just can't pull the big logs very well.
