I have a 98 flareside s/c does anyone know if the clear lightning tail lights will fit, what is the differance if any from the 97-99 tail lights to the 2000- 04 ones ??

 

If I remember right 97-98's have two brake/signal bulbs. One on top and one on bottom with the back up light in between the two. Whereas the later models had one bulb filling the two lower sections of the lens and the backup light on top. You could probably either get the harness for a late model or just not use one of the plugs with the new lights...

They are the same size. Just pull the bulb out of the top and tape it up. You also have to add some washers to the bottom (I think) bolt. If you don't the bolt will punch thru the chrome housing.
