Different types of soft tonneau covers...

I'm looking to get a soft tonneau cover for my 2000 F-150. I've seen three different types of covers, snap, velcro and peel-n-seal (ziploc bag style) and was wondering which lasts longer and has the best ease of use features. I have a tool chest that sits completely below the bed rails that I get into alot so, ease of removal and longevity are equally important. What do you guys think? Thanks....Mike S.

I have an Access roll up cover and really like it. You unlatch the cover and can roll it up bows in all in about 10 seconds. Takes about as long to unroll it and latch it. The sides secure with velcro and it is a nice looking cover.

There is a ton of info on tonneau covers on this site. Type tonneau cover in the search feature and you'll come up with many, many pages.

I agree. I've had an Access cover since 2001 and love it. It's a lot better quality than most soft covers on the market.

I have the snapless Extang full-tilt. Super easy to roll and unroll. No problems with anything coming loose or blowing off. Plus I really like the tilt-up feature - I don't have to unroll it to get stuff that is at the front of the bed.

I had a snap on tonneau cover once I would never get another one. The snaps eventualy break. It was also hard to get all the snaps to fasten if the cover was of for an extended period of time or if it was cold out side it seemed like the cover would shrink a little and the snaps would not line up until it streached back out. I currently have an access cover that fastens with velcro and it works great.
