Extang RT tonneau

Hello all,

First I want to thank you in advance, this sit is awsome and the people are a fantastic help.
I will be getting my baby out of the body shop soon (long story, truck took an egging) and wish to put a soft tonneau on it.
I know that this has to have been aked before, but I have not found any post related to the exact tonneau cover I am looking at. Have any of you used the Extang RT tonneau cover? I have no need for a fiberglass or hard coverand think this tonneau looks very nice when installed.
Was curious about owner opinions.
Again thanks for your time, it is very much appreciated.

Hi Treekiller1,

I have the Extang RT on my truck and it works well and looks good because it sits pretty flush to the bed. The only thing I wish was different is that the tonneau isn't super tight. I had an Access Roll-Up tonneau on my 2003 SuperCrew and I liked it much better. I think the quality of the parts and the ease of use was better on the Access cover. Plus, the Access cover fits "tight as a drum" when it's closed--therefore, it doesn't move when driving down the road. Don't get me wrong, the Extang tonneau is a very good cover, I just prefer the Access.
