Question GTS Headlight Covers

Hey... anyone have the GTS Headlight covers? I picked up a set today, and honestly I am a little disappointed with how they fit to the headlight lenses. Anyone else notice this and have any suggestions/fixes??

Hey there I know what you mean. I took and got 2 velcro circles at WalMart and put them on back side of covers and attatched them to my corner lenses. This hold them tighter and keep them from lifting on the highway. I hope this helps you out!

I guess the GTO"S are not made like my Ventshade brand. The Ventshades do not use any velco. THe top has a tap that slips up behind the grill shell and the bottom has a rubber strip that pops in between the headlight and grill shell. Never had a problem yet and they are cheaper too.

Thanks for the replies guys,

Yeah, these covers came with small pieces of high-strength velcro, but it just seems like the covers themselves don't fit very well onto the lenses. Not that they are loose, but on my old car, the headlight covers fit snuggly right up against the lenses. I thought maybe they needed to be heated up a little and bent, or maybe even trimmed a bit so that they would fit over my lenses.

Yeah I traded my GTS's for the AVS Blackouts. They look great and are a whole lot cheaper!

Yeah, I have the Ventshades also and the hold pretty good. When I bought my new truck, even though they should be the same, one of the lens was a little loose. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and bought the 3M Auto Velcro Tabs. They are round and they are the HARD velcro. Not the soft kind.

Works great now.
