Thanks SilverFlareSide, looks like I need to find some new taillights.
Nice truck, we were looking for silver but couldn't find one.

They changed to the 2-bulb setup on the flare-sides mid-year 2000 model year. Saves money on wiring/bulbs, I guess.

flareside taillights
When I first noticed the flareside taillights were different (back around 1998). It looked like each individual bubble in the light was a different bulb. So when the particular light came on (turn signal or brake light), the light would show through "round".
On my 2001, with the reverse light at the top. The brake and turn signal lights share the same bulb, and do not have the same appearance.
Can some one clarify that the 97,98,99,00 flareside taillights us 3 different bulbs in them (reverse, turn signal, brake).

I got the 01 lightning lights. I just left the 3rd one hanging. I took the bulb out and taped the connector up. Where did you get the remove to tow chevy? I want one.
