I picked up my 2000 a little over a week ago. I've washed and polished it three times. The last time was Thursday evening and it's getting dusty.

I'd like for it to look good for church in the morning.

What would you recommend for wiping off the truck just to get the dust off? Dry or wet, followed by a towel?

Suggestions?

Well believe it or not, I use a leaf blower. LOL If you have enough wax on the truck, take a standard electric or gas leaf blower and it blows it all off nicely without having to touch the finish. I did it today since there is so much pollen...it blew it all off and left me a shiny red finish. If that doesn't take it off, then I get a duster (the ones that have long strands on it) and it does the trick as well.

 

I use a California duster. Works good and keeps the pickup looking sharp until it rains.

 

California duster......the more you use it the better it works.........Dave

Same here... Claifornia duster, if that doesn't work then I use a light mist setting on the old garden hose and chamiou it off. Do not do the last trick often or if it's really dirty, it will scratch the paint

 

California duster works well on light dust and pollen, which repainted my truck yellow yesterday morning. Was so thick I couldn't see in my windshield. That needed a bit more drastic measure then a california duster. That was Garden hose territory.

I use the california car duster as well.
Harley, I want a garage like yours! I see that picture then look at my own garage which even if there wasn't a height restriciton I still couldn't pull in because its so full of S*&T and tools! Don't get me wrong I love having the tools but I'd love a huge garage as well.
