I had mine done with 3M Tint film at 20% and I am very happy with it. Had it done about 4 months ago and it looks like it came from the factory that way.

if you do not know what you are doing i would not attemp to do my own windows. this is a very complicated task if you are unexpieranced (sp) and i would get 20% limo tint that would match pretty good

I've applied tint myself before. Trust me. It just ISN'T worth your time. You'll end up cussing and the result will disappoint you. Also, the stuff you can buy locally is pure crap, compared to what the pros use. A GOOD local pro took one look at my SCrew and told me I'd need a 20% tint to match my rear windows. I was in and out in 15 minutes. He used Johnson brand product. Like 3M, it's great stuff. Two windows. 60 bucks. My windows match perfectly. I'm happy. Just remember to throw your windex away. It'll turn your tint to a purple-y color over time. Your local pro will advise you how to properly care for your tint.

Amen! Sundog7 is 100% correct. Unless you install tint for a living, do not try this at home.

Purple-y?? Eewww!

Do not use any Ammonia based window cleaners. This will damage factory tint as well. Ammonia is too harsh.

I would like to tint my front windows to match my back ones as well but am worried about legal limits in New Hampshire. Anyone no this information?

If you are interested in the legal requirements of window tint by state, go to the website http://www.iwfa.com, click on "automotive" then "state laws". Hope this helps.

Hey Norm,

I live in Massachusetts and I was told the legal here is 22. I have 29 (at least thats what it read on the meter when I went for my inspection sticker) and they want to slap a rejection sticker on my ride.
