Talking

CHARB,
I just ordered a set of speed glo gauges,I think these may be the ones your talking about? I paid $69.95 for mine, and bought an overlay to change them to individual gauges. The coolest thing is that now they are coming out with a gauge set where only the numbers glow at night. If you think about it,it sounds just like the factory gauges. They look really good, though! check them out at

Thumbs up

I LOVE it Lariat! Looks so nice this way - you should post a before & after pic to show it off even better!
98 - leave it to you to notice his footwear! I had to go back to see what he was wearing!
I'd love a 2 tone for my tuck but in just a slightly different way - I'd paint the truck white & have big, black cow spots added! LOL! Okay - not on this truck BUT if I ever get an older F150 that's the first thing I'd do! It's almost obligatory - dontcha think? ROFL!

Hi Lariat4WD,

Sweet truck with great changes but I was curious about a couple of things. An F-150 next to a trash dumpster?! Harsh! I'm sure there are better sceneries to pose your truck in Florida. Who manufactures the white gauges?

Thanks.

------------------
My ride:

Basics:
- '99 XLT F-150

Under hood and back:
- Ram air (Don't ask me how )
- AiRaid intake
- Flowmaster DF 50 Series
- 24x3.5" Stainless steel slashed tips (Yes! Solid polished stainless, no cheesy chrome-plated)

Outside:
- Precision polished billet grille and plate holders
- American Racing 17x8s polished Pythons (Flushed front AND back)
- Goodyear.. something tires (Expensive is all I know. LOL)
- Ford nerf bars
- Ford bed rails
- Ford splash guards

Inside:
- My girlfriend!

Fun stuff:
- Dual sirens Black Widow alarm system/keyless entry (Enough decibels to go deaf in a garage )
- Custom driving lights (Just a cool blue)
- 2 High-Watt lights behind grille (for people who cut me off )
- Dual horns (For people who, again, cut me off)
- Dual wheel locks (So I won't be driving home on bricks!)
- Spare wheel lock (So I won't have to use a brick as a spare )
- Custom decals

Best of all:
- Texas A&M University aTm front plate! Gig'em Aggies!!

Yeah, the bolt thing pissed me off. I am getting them swapped out under warranty because there is no documentation stating that would happen.

I was at the local car wash and just decided to shoot a couple pics off. I will get some better ones this weekend after I detail it. Maybe by the beach or something.

NR Automotive is who makes the white/black gauges.

$129

Thanks all. I like it more and more everytime I look at it.

I got a price on the ProGlass shaker hood.

$849.95 with K&N Filter
and $128 to ship it to FL from IN.
Not bad considering Ford is painting it for free...hehehehe....ain't I a stinker?!

Ok,

1.) I have been e-mailing ProGlass for 2 days. They told me this morning that the 97+ F-150 hood won't be available for a few months still. They will e-mail me pictures and shipping dates when ready.

2.) My dealership is trying to keep me happy by repainting parts of my truck that are either sparse of paint, or have acid rain damage very badly. They are trying to keep me from Lemon Lawing it and getting a new truck. If I have to have any drive train work, I will probably just ask for a new truck. They said that my truck should have never left the assembly plant with the paint job it has/had.

It is painted behind the rear wheel. Just can't see it very well in these pics.
I had the factory 2-tone changed. Wherever there was silver, there is now dark charcoal.
I am working on some custom Lariat striping to match...not sure what I'm doing exactly yet though. Will post pics when done though.
