Check out www.cervinis.com or just pick up a Truckin magazine. There are lots of a/m hoods. I put a cowl induction hood from cervinis on my last F150. It was somewhere around $425 plus truck freight.

Cervinis was my choice after looking at both. At least you'll have the option of ram-air mod. if it becomes available.
Plus, fit and finish are perfect.

Oh man!! I just drooled all over my keyboard!! that Shaker hood looks soooooooooo sweeet! They did a great job - looks like the real thing!! I hope they make one for the SD's & Excursions!!

Actually, I had it painted back in '98 when the hood was on my 98 ext cab. I sold the truck and kept the hood. When I got my Screw I just threw the hood on and the paint matched pretty darn good. So, no, guess you dont have to paint the whole truck. 
I think I paid $599 for the hood back then, Im happy with the hood, like I said its been on 2 different trucks over the last 3 years without any problems.
