Cool

I follow you 100%. I have done similar work for other projects, just not for my truck. I figured you welded the seams where the sides of the open box came together at the four corners. I was planing on having the four corners welded on the inside and then grind/polish the outside smooth. From what you are saying though, you had the edges smoothed. Then after the bends were done, just bolt the boxes straight to your truck. Heck, since I don't need to weld the seams, I can do all the work myself. Now that's a cool Idea. Thanx!

Thanks oldtimer!...Looks like I'm going to have to make some time for some G-jobing at work and try to make some. I'll have to find a local weld shop to do the welding though. I can't weld worth crap.

gremlin, if you need any help with the measurements let me know. I don't have the templates I used kicking around anymore, but I can measure those on the truck and get you within 1/4", and then you can make fine some tuning. Mine is a 2000 F-150.
