Thumbs down Removed the clear corners.......

I put clear corners on my Estate Green Eddie Bauer Expedition a few weeks ago. I reinstalled the OEM corners today, and it looks much better.

Really different post huh? The clears looks awesome on some trucks, but not all. Keep that in mind if you consider them.

If you have solid Silver or White awesome. Black, or red look really good too. Trim levels make a world of difference. The plainer, or more of the same color, like maybe an F150 Sport really looks good. An Expy with the Sport appearance package would look good and maybe even an XLT.

Just another tip.

Not bad odds so far. Out of everything I've done, this is the only thing I've undone. And I know I can sell them too.

Hey FamilyRide,
I have done and then undone several things on my truck,Westin step bars, changed the brand of vent shields(windows) I've changed pedal covers three times,LOL. I'll install something, then later decide it looks dumb,or cheap, and rip it back off again
So,your not alone by any means. I still like my clear corners, though ,,,,,98

Great post, FamilyRide. I've looked at the clear corners, too, and not quite sure why I'd change. I really kinda like the look that is currently there, even on the all black truck. Thanks for saying that changing isn't always the best answer!

Now, I REALLY, really am tempted by the chrome and red Flairside taillights. Figure the chrome would go with the all the rest of the chrome look on the HD. We'll see.

I agree that the clear corners don't look right on all trim levels/colors. I think that the dark red wood dash kit would look great in my truck but am afraid I could not remove them later what with the 3M stuff.

Hey Family,

If you are looking to sell those clear corners....give me a mail at caelistis@home.com with a price listed.

If they fit on an F150...I'll buy 'em from you if the price is right.
