Does anyone know where and how much I could get the factory OEM fender flares for a 99 f-150?

Don't get them from Ford. There are clips on my fenders under my flares so you would need to drill holes in your fenders. You can get flares that look stock but you don't have to drill holes in the side of your fenders. You will have to get them painted but that is not hard. Here is the web page.

Yeah, and the Ford ones are $400 unpainted....apx. anyway. Maybe more.
Try a salvage yard, or aftermarket.

Truckluver: I have a set I bought from the dealer for $249. They are painted to match the truck. Alot of dealers are charging $349 for the same thing so see if you can get them to match the price. I took the clips off and installed them with 3M automotive 2-sided tape. Just be careful and make sure exactly where you want them. Hope this helps.

p.s. I used a grease pen to mark where the flares will line up. After that just peel and stick!

Thanks guys, I'll try the dealer and try and find some aftermarket as well. I found some from Ozark Truck Outfitters for $139 unpainted, but they aren't there anymore. Guess they realized it was a steal.

I was asking about stock fender flares and the Ford parts gut quoted 105 a piece for the fronts or rears and 55 a piece for the others. In other words one is twice as much but I can't remember. I asked him if he would discount and he said only to jobbers. I don't ever like to pay retail. Seems like since I bought the truck new that it would buy me some privilege. He wouldn't budge so I will try elsewhere. Hmmm, there is another Ford dealer in this town. Maybe if I play them against each other.....

PS I have a picture that I printed out from somewhere and this dark colored F-150 had dark or black flares that were kind of two tiered but I can't remember where I saw them.

Hey Truckluver: I too ordered the painted to match factory flares for about 230$ for the set from the dealer. I opted to drill holes in the rear and use one hole (very front clip) and tape for the front. To get the holes right all you have to do is put a dab of paint on the tip of the clips and line them up, then touch the fender. Now you will see where you have to drill the hole. Mine snapped right in and I have not had any trouble with them. Have a look at my pics, they look like they came that way..:-)

I've been wanting to add some to my truck as well,but was also scared away by the dealer price....$75 for the fronts,,and around $115 for the rears(both $'s are each,of course) I've just about decided on the Bushwhacker "street flares" for around $210 to $225. If I had them on I wouldn't have dented my fender at Home Depot ,,,,,,98

Truckluver: Now that I see you truck if that 2nd tone on the bottom is B2 (Harvest Gold) and could go with the same color I have. They also sell the painted to match bumper valance ( the black cover on top of the bumper) for about 70$ @ the dealer. I changed out that, the grill, and added the flares. Really added a lot of class to the truck! Yours would actully come out looking like the Lariat with all those changes. :-)

Trippn, so they replaced your bumper to the gold color? If so, that would look cool. Yeah, if I end up getting the flares, I'm going to get the gold color to match my paint. I would look like the Lariat, minus the purple pinstripe!

Hey Truckluver: I replaced the bumper "valance" to match the flares and the color of my truck. Have a look at my pics and you will see what I mean. On a Lariat this would also be the color of what ever the flares are(mine is harvest gold). As I said it was not expensive (70$) and really adds to the look af the truck! I also changed the grill surround from chrome to painted, with all the addtions I made it makes the truck look "classy: so to speak..

-just about to add 285's and will probably get 2" body lift in the future.

 

Things are gonna have to wait for a while. I might be selling my truck and if I do the flares are going to go with it. Hopefully things work out, but I'm gonna have to wait for a little while and see.
