Talking Looking to get into leather...

Actually, I'm looking to add the leather package to my truck (see description below). Leather wasn't an option for me since I ordered a regular cab. At the time, I didn't care because I'm not really into luxury. Now, I've taken a shine to the idea.

Has anyone ever added the leather package to your truck after delivery? If so, what can you tell me about the price you paid and the quality you received? Also, where did you go? I was thinking about just taking it to the dealer to ensure a perfect fit, but wanted to hear from y'all before calling them. Thanks, everyone.

I don't know anything about the leather package, because my truck came with leather from the factory. I can say this, I would recommend you get the leather. I originally didn't want leather, in fact if you could get cloth on a Lariat that's what I would have done. But I'm so glad I have the leather. It's easy to keep clean, looks good, very comfortable (unless it's 105 degrees out, then you want a towel on the seats). In addition to the nice feel, there is the nice smell. I know it sounds cheesy, but you can smell the leather when you get in your truck and it's nice. But I think the best part is the fact I no longer get shocked. My old car gave me a shock it seemed almost every time I got out. My truck with the leather seats hasn't shocked me once.

Thanks, Freezer.

I know what you mean about getting shocked. I've been shocked by my truck so bad I thought my heart would stop from the current. Well, now I want the leather even more.

Leather is the way to go. I love it. I work for Enterprise Car Sales and we have put leather in several vehicles for customers. The leather package is awesome. Use a place called Classic Soft trim. There is one in Dallas. There phone # is 972-988-8100. I have been very impressed with there work. I think they even put a 3 year warranty on the leather. If i did not already have leather, I would not have any problems going with aftermarket.

I am not sure on a price for a regular cab but it should be around 800-1100. If you go to a dealer, your truck will probably end up at Classic's anyway. I am not sure who else in Dalls does leather, but no problems with Classic Soft trim here in houston. Also, I am in no way affliated with Classic Soft Trim.
