Hey Larait, quick question about those clear corners. I just ordered a pair and I noticed you had posted somewhere about being hassled by the cops and ordering the Lightning 01's. Do you have clear bulbs or amber ones? Just needed some advice before I get them and by bulbs. By the way, I am over here in Orlando, maybe we can arrange a meet for all the close Central FL owners...would be a hoot!!

Yeah, DOT says you are supposed to have "amber" reflector on front/side of vehicle and red reflector in rear. I use clear bulbs right now, but only because I have Hyperwhite/blue headlight bulbs. Makes them look more amber colored. I will probably run them in the 01 corners too. I hate amber bulbs.

My 01 L corners are on order. The tails should be here any day now. She e-mailed me that she got one in, and is waiting for the other one before she ships them.

Thks for the repley Larait, I have the clear corners on order and will try the clear bulbs.(take my chances cuz they look so nice) Which Superwhite' s are you running.
I have been tossed between PIAA and another cheaper brand?? As far as coming here, you mean here in Orlando...or there in Tampa...I would like to meet up with some members from here...chat about our passions!! Any free weekend, here or there.

I thought you had to have a yellow bulb in the corner? I'm getting euro clear corners to go with the 01L headlights I ordered. My build date is 6/96 so I couldn't get the 01L corners also.

Trippn, here in Tampa. I went on Saturday night. I wasn't that impressed. We have better shows on my side of the bay.
I bought "Nokya" 9007s off Ebay.

I did meet TampaSVT....nice guy...sweet truck too.
