Got my clear corner lights today. Would like to install but an't figure out how to get old ones out.

1997 XLT Teal 4.6L Flareside 4x4. Automatic, Reg. cab, tinted windows, bug deflector, Dual exhaust, K&N Generation 2 air filter, BullDog keyless entry/remote start(installed myself), Custom 16" wheels, bedliner, Covercraft tonneau cover, electronic shift on the fly. Going to add headers.

 

1) open hood
2) take out small screws, think they are 8 mm
1 for each light
3) slide out corner, may take alittle force but they will slide out
4) twist out bulb
5) put bulb in new corner
6) slide new corner in..slides on upper and lower rail type system
7) replace screws
8) turn on lights and enjoy...you can also leave them off for enjoyment...

I wound up taking my main headlight cases out too, which made it really easy, had a little difficulty just taking out the corners by themselves so I first just slid the headlamps out and then slid the corner out and put it all back together, takes no time at all, even though my right headlamp is a pain to fit in, it just doesnt' slide in right as if it was a screw up and wasnt fit to size. Anyone else ever have this happen? The left one goes in like that but the right one takes some work to get in straight.

 

I really like the clear corners, kinda gives it a more professional look. I don't think any truck could look any more professional than yours DAVENSA. Wow, that's definitely a Texas truck. I wish they could come from the dealer like that!

DAVENSA...this may be a stupid question, but your signature says your truck is two wheel drive. Why did you put on a lift kit, and your little picture looks like it's some monster 4x4?
Just curious...you can spaz on me if you want.
