Question Lightning Heads Lowest Price

Does anyone know an online site to get L headlamp assemblies for a decent price? Ford recently decided to bump up the price from around $300 to $525 for headlamps + corners.

Look on ebay for TYC Lightning replica headlights. Who in the right mine gonna pay 500 dollars for a set of headlights. They don't have the svt logo in the center, but then again you will pay about 350 less.

Are the TYC good quality though? I don't want some cheap made-in-China stuff that will yellow out in 2 months.

I've had my set on since last summer and not had any signs of yellowing on them. They look great. I have to go into work early in the mornings so they get alot of use. 500 dollars is rediculous you might as well get Xenarcs if your willing to spend that much. If i had the money i'd get the xenarc kit. You will have to have them pointed. You can get the ford tool or do like i did and let the dealer point it..

You won't believe this one. After quite a while of browsing and considering all the different kits available I decided to get the Xenacs. Sylvania had a sale direct from their website so I was going to order some 2 weekends ago but you have to register so I was like "whatever, I'll do it Monday". Well Monday came and BAM, they sold the last set that same weekend and updated their website. Man I was sooo close LOL.

Anyhow, nobody else has the Xenacs for $350 (or $450 or less for that matter of fact) so I bought the 5K Hella kit some from ProXenon at $370. The color isn't legal but it's really close. The problem is the headlamp assembly doesn't come with the kit like the Xenacs so now I need a new set of headlamps. (Or face serious glare and possible tickets)

They said it's a direct swap, pretty much and play. I'll find out this weekend though.

I looked it up. It'll be interesting to see how much light you get out of that. I wonder if it heats up the housing more than the stock bulb. Also is this both bright and dimms? You need to get some pics to compare. Before and after???

Unfortunately this kit is only low beams. I'm not too worried about it since I don't live in the country or anything. I can't even remember the last time I used high beams really. Plus I'm about to order another set of HIDs except that these will be off-road complete sets. No kits or lamp assembly needed. They'll be mounted behind the billet grille.

I can't post prices on here but go to the classifieds and look at my ad. They've been on my Crew for about 6 months. They are the real deal with the SVT stamped on the bulb cover. Look like new. Make me an offer. I'm selling my truck. Lots of other parts listed in the classifieds.

Are those genuine Ford products though? I'm pretty **** about the Ford brand stamp. I'll only buy it if it says Ford on it.

Nope.
I guess to be "****" in this instance would cost you an additional $125.00!!
How many people will be close enough to tell?

Good luck!

Unless they are some kinda head light freak most people want notice they don't say svt... Did you get those hid lights hooked up on the truck. Where they bright. I'd hate to put that much money in the headlight housing melt them using hid setup.

Well, I've had these HID lights, along with a few other pending projects LOL, sitting in my garage for a few months now then one day it started raining. That's when I decided it was time to put them on. As requested...
