I called today on the 01 Lightning Tails. They said there were two part #s. One for a Lightning version and one for a SVT Lightning. Anyone know why?

 

that makes no sense at all. there is no difference in a Lightning or an SVT Lightning.

what dealer did you call.

there are 2 part 3's for the lights though.

one # for the right side and one # for the left side. the #'s are the same they just end in different letters.

and they are on backorder till 3/11

I kwow it is odd and makes no sense to me either. It was a company called www.oemfordparts.com
The lady I talked to gave me the #s. Don't have them with me. She did say that was what they had. Two diffrent #s. One for a Lightnig version, and one for a SVT. Maybe it was a mistake. I can get either set for $68 and some change.

Alright...here's the scoop:

L tails come with bulbs, sockets, body, and lens for $40.12 list price, and $26.48 10% over dealer cost.

SVT tails are "obsolete."

Back ordered till 3/11/01

L corners come with bulb and socket at $57.20 list, $37.75 10% over dealer.

Does anyone have a pic of the L corners? How about the headlights? They didn't show a new part # on the headlights, but quoted $142 a side for heads...and that's 10% over.

Corners for $44.14 each
Tails for $32.49 each.

I ordered my tails yesterday.
Should have them by mid-March.

I just ordered mine from www.fordpartsonline.com for $60.18. I talked to Gary and he said anyone from here can ask for him. Seems like a cool guy. Anyway, he also warned that these prices may go up in the very near future. He said the HD F-150 wheels are now 1k a rim! The HD/F-150 emblem is $120! So, where ever you get yours, get em' before the prices go up! Maybe they won't, but you never know. That's what I am telling the wife!
