Looks awsome, I was going to put one of those on my truck, but since I am getting a new truck I decided against it. I still think this is how Ford shouls have made all the 4x4.
Good job bud.

Is your new airdam plastic or metal? It looks like black metal.
How long did it take you, from start to finish?
TIA

the new airdam is plastic just like the stock one, it actually seems to be about the same composition of plastic... If anything I'd say to me it feels sturdier then the stock one...
about your time question, well let me say, if I'd had my instructions that I wrote up the first time through, would've been done probably 2 hours or less... unfortanetly I made a mistake the first time through (can you guess what by reading my notes? LOL. I installed the main bracket in the wrong holes, didn't realize this until I had the airdam halfway up, then had to completely remove it so I could completely reinstall the bracket in the proper position. Also it didn't help I was doing much of the install in the dark, and in the cold, LOL. So I'd say under ideal conditions, i.e. you had the instructions, you had plenty of light, it was a comfortable temperature, and you did everything right hte first time, I'd guess an hour to two hours.
Doc_f150, yes I am, email me at mattadams@pcisys.com and we'll discuss it... it will include everything except the wiring to the fog lights, I don't want to go through the hassle of removing all that when its easier to just zip-tie it out of the way . But it would include the airdam, the fog lights and the fog light brackets.

Question

Hey Matt,

Greg from Houston here.

What do you think of the yellow lights? Are they that noticably yellow? What about when you look at the truck head-on?

btw...I checked out my fogs last night with the brights on and they were off...you were absolutely correct! never noticed before.

heh heh thanks... as for the yellowness, I prefer it over clear fog lights when used in true fog or snow situations... when using a clear fog lens they typically just light up the snow, but the yellow goes through the snow to show you the road, what you really want to see. It isn't so yellow though that you look at it and go "wow thats yellow!" It's pretty easy to tell which ones are the 520's and which ones are the 80's though...
