Post KC Daylighter Question

Each Daylighter comes with two metal washers with pieces of rubber that fits into each one as dampening washers. The lower washer doesn't fit on my light tabs on the prerunner bar. Can I put both above the tabs and still have the same dampening? I could grind the bottom one down to fit but i'd rather not if it'll work the same with both on top.

No, it won't.... you need to use both of them to insulate the light... that's what makes them last so long. Grind it down until it fits, if you can. I had a similar problem with my Manik... the bottom holes were too small to get the washer in, so I drilled out a 7/8 OD washer to 1/2 ID, and folded the grommet up inside the hole in the guard. Works better than nothing. I didn't have the heart to grind out the opening in the guard.... for $700 the lights should fit to begin with!
