Question Smooth Wiper Cowls

I've been contemplating one of these for some time now. Do they affect your a/c or heater? There is a vent on the stock cowl for a reason, right? Anyone got one of these? Pics would help too. Anyone had any problems with these? Thanks.

Cool

Hey Guy,
Sorry for being so late to post but I really don't get around these webs very much.
I live in south Louisana and have not had any problems with the one I have. I feel it is the first thing we should do to clean up the front hood, the next would be to paint that cheap of plastic that holds the rear glass in. I'm not very good at posting pictures but try these.
Good luck,
Alvin

These are not very easy to install but you just need to give it a little TLC. Also I have had no heater/AC problems. I though the same thing, so I though I try it. The install is just what sucks.

Due to lack of responses, I will no longer be building these boxes for resale. I will build the 2 orders I have received, but after that, no more here. Sorry.

what brand is everybody getting. I once got an APC and sent the piece of junk back. It had little pits and grooves all over it. It was NOT ready for paint like they said. I brought it to the shop that I was going to have paint it, and he said that all those little pits would have to be filled. Oh yea, and there was a very long crease down the middle. Overall, I thought the quality of the APC was absolutely horrible. What other brand are out there?

Mine was all Fiberglass, needs to be shimmed big time to fit correct, I also used my weather strip(which I don't think they take into account or the window one either)and you need to unbolt one side of the hood and slide it up to get it on. I did it by myself so taking the entire hood off was not an option and I really didn't want to do that either. I got mine from Roger Lemere (Online Store) but I have no idea what brand or Co. makes it.
