I just ordered an Expedtion console from LWM Enterprises. Very nice people. I plan to install in in my 98 F150. I then plan to drop a graphic equilizer into the console.

So, here is my question. My F150 has floor vents that the new console will be basically covering up. How did the Expedtions handle this? Did they reroute the floor vents through the console, or do the expeditions just not have the floor vents? What did everybody who installed these consoles in their F150s do about this? I really don't want hot air to build up under the console where my EQ is. Any information or pics would be greatly appreciated.

Are you installing a '97-'99 console? If so, the console does not cover the vents. It is narrower than where the vents are under the dash. I wondered the same thing but mine worked out great. If you installing the new wider console from the '00-'01 Expy I am not sure but I know it is wider.
