Steel mesh grill????
Has anyone seen, heard, or know where to find a steel mesh grill. The particular grill I'm looking for I saw in a picture in the CARAUDIO magazine. It is just a grill that goes over your existing grill. It has a small diamond shaped mesh to it, and it actually looks like the expy grill where it has an inset line that goes from one side to the other. I like the look but have looked everywhere and can't find it.

Hey red97,
The closest thing to what you've described that I've seen is a "speed grille". If you don't know what that looks like, do a search in this forum for Speed Grille. There is a thread out there somewhere that has several pics.
Hope this helps!

Thanks 98super4point2. That is exactly the grill I was looking for. I could never get the pics to come up. But when I did a search for speed grill pics I got one to come up.Thanks again.
E&G Mesh speed style grill I just installed.
It replaces the factory insert.

I am happy with it myself. The little recess wingy looking part that mounts behind the Ford emblem comes unpainted. It would look awesome on your truck painted red. The insert was 199.00 and was fairly simple to install. It mounts with screws that go into the surround tabs where the original insert snaps in. The hardest part was getting the original insert unsnapped without breaking something. If you get one and need any info let me know.
