Wink SWEET HOOD!!!

I have a bud with a 98 F-150 4x2 we were looking at my girlfriends trans-am one day and got to thinking how good the ram air induction would look on his ride.....so of course we had to do it......found a junked black bird (99) and had our local body man put it on his ford...it looks awesome i hope to get some pics posted soon oyu guys gotta see it

i dont have a scanner i have a couple of pics that i wanna put on here but it looks really nice but my lights have the hard yellow covers that came with them i only have 4 i am going to a 2 year vocational and kinda on a tight budget...lol....i am planning on buying a pushbar with brush guards similar to yours and definetly gettn some balck kc covers like yours those are sweet i have many more mods to my truck but these are my major ones i have listed97 4x4 ex-cab flareside ORP

cant wait till the new geolanders come in should set it off.i just put the new wheels on there not to long ago they are sweet...i have a fabtech susp on the way and planning to get a single black racin stripe 12' up the hood top and down the tailgate.....should look good......wish i had the pics of the hood on my buds f-150..it is NICE!!!!


By the way where did you find your roll bar....it was a dog finding one to fit my step side bed...so i ordered one from rhino-3 bar- cut one out and had a 3 in pipe bent and then i welded a flat plate on the bottom so i could boolt it to my floor....looks great cant tell its been tampered with..

I got my roll bar from Wholesale Advantage, ordered out of their catalog. It's a Grizzly.

There aint no way. No offence but I will believe it when I see it. I dont see how in the world a car hood, especially off of that car, could fit on an f-150. that means that my hood could fit on a bird. if the bird can fit on mine then why cant mine fit on a bird?

HI!... WALDO0506 : NO OFFENCE, but try reading the 1ST thread a little more carefully before typing a responce!LOL! JIM said that he had the RAM AIR INDUCTION from a "99" FIREBIRD (NOT THE ENTIRE HOOD) grafted on too his buddy's F-150 hood. You know, cut the ram air off the FIREBIRD's hood and graft it into the F-150's hood. Sorry to correct you but I was just trying to make you understand better what he was trying to accomplish.LOL!

sorry to tell you this but that hood is going to crack all to hell around the ram air part within a year
fiberglass and metal overlapped not good
the materials expand and contract at different rates and it cuase the seams to crack
