Lightbulb Until I have the chance to remove the emblems

I came up with an idea. I really want to remove the side and rear emblems on my ride, but until then I came up with something. I had some left over "carbon fiber" that I used on my bike and came up with this:

Of course is not real carbon fiber. This is just some sort of "contact paper" you can get from www.tapeworks.com. All I did was lay it over the letters and numbers, cut around them with an exacto knife and paint around with the touch up paint from Ford, I did all 3 for about 15 bucks.

Hey Jimmy Lee, by all means, but honestly I really don't know when this will happen. As you probably know, there are three holes behind the side emblems and I've heard it's not that cheap to fill them and have the area repainted. I have other mods in mind for the near future.

Really? Damn! I didn't think a sticker from a 2000 would fit on a '97! Can anyone confirm this!?

im almost postitive like 100% sure. SS97 put 2000 emblems on his 97 so im pretty sure it will work. he also stripped off the black paint so they look billet now. and it only cost him like 15$ an emblem.

Question

Are you sure that the 3M double-sided tape will fit from the 2000 to the 97 models? LOL

alright alright. sorry. i had gone to sleep at 2am this morning and had just gotten up. so shut up. haha just kidding.
anyway i was wondering why he wanted to buy someone elses emblems when he could go out and buy his own. well guys learn to be more sarcastice, cause some people dont know you can interchange parts. like you can change a 98 bumper into a 99 bumper with the correct parts. and thanks BIGWORM for the help when you joining us down here in texas. well be glad to have another member of the texas chapter.

Question

ThePyroManiacKid,

I knew that the navigator front end COULD be made to fit a f-150, but is it a TRUE bolt on, or do you have to bust out the bondo and welder ?

Thanks,
Chris
