I just bought a set of black nerf bars by Smittybilt. They look AWSOME !! Picked them up at www.customautoparts.com. They had them for $209.00. That was the best deal that I could find....

Black fitting an `01 supercab.. I recieved an email from my dealer here in SO-FLA selling factory ones for 349.99 installed. I figure that can be beaten, plus I recon I could do the install by myself.

I have Westin nerf bars on my 97 4x4 they look great i ordered them from summit racing for 188 dollars not bad at all and it was about a 20 minute job nothing hard about it instructions are simple if you have any problems

Take a look at the Manik step bars... They mount much closer to the body (less than 2 inches of space between them and the body), protect the truck just like Nerf Bars, and, in my humble opinion, look much better. Shipped to your door should cost $245 in black.

 

i looked at the manik bars and didn't like them for the same reason phil likes them, too close to the body, hard to use as a step, for me anyway...i have had the westin chromes for around a year, only marks on them are from people's doors, glad i have them on...they carry a 5-year warranty and seem to be good so far....mine were less than $300 mounted and out the door....you won't go wrong with the westins..Rich

I know you can beat 349 for a black set of these things. I paid 349 for my stainless set on my SuperCrew. Yesterday I bought a black pair for my dads 99 supercab from 4-Wheel Parts here in Houston for $164.99. Of course you would have to have them installed, or take about an hour to do it yourself. I am almost positive you could have them shipped to you for not too much if you had too. The bars themslves look identical to the Westins and MAAP bars, but were a lot cheaper with a limited lifetime warranty. email me if you need more info adamski96@yahoo.com

summit racing will shippem to your doori paid 188 for mine after shipping i think it was 209 wasnt too bad no drill installation took maybe 20-30 mins. to do ordered the balck ones and they fit perfect the steps are pos. just rite for your foot and they also improve looks by far.....theyre all good step bars but i just like the westins for their price and warranty www.summitracing.com has all the prices and all different kinds of bars checkem out
