Angry KC Problems

I have 4 6 in. kc's on my light bar and they look like hey are dirty when theyre turned on .. i took the lenses off and cleamed them but they still look this way dont know what the problem is if anyone can help me with this prob. i would appreciate it

Hummm.....if ya cleaned the bulbs and it's still a problem then I am not sure what the deal is. Dirty bulb maybe? Sorry, have no clue.

wow this has got to be a first. mudder didnt have an asnwer to a KC question. let me take a stab at it since i deal with lights for a living. did you try and clean the reflector unit?? or also the lamp postition could have been moved somehow and its not at the prime location for the hot spot to be in the center of the light projection. hope this helps.

Like Bomber said, try cleaning the reflector. Are they just not bright? The four on my roll bar used to be like that. I used to small of wire, it had to much loss and they weren't as bright as the front two pair. Changing the wire gauge solved that problem. Mudder with no answer....that's funny.

i used 10 gauge wires with the whole kit but they have never acted up any before like this they look like theyre dirty but i cleaned everything ill keep tryin to figure thiangs out and let u guys kno...thanx

Jimmy, this might sound stupid, but check your ground for your lights. If it's not a really good ground you could get what your talking about, where it seems to be on but dim? Something to check out... may also want to check the bulb and make sure it's clean... can't imagine it getting noticeably dirty though.
